I'm Lisa, an architecture student passionate about intricate details and intimate moments. I believe that architecture can provide happiness and stability to the communities it impacts and beyond. Through my studies, I have fallen in love with the interdisciplinary nature of this field. I hope you enjoy browsing through my portfolio!

I am currently based in Pittsburgh and will graduate in Spring 2027.

Beyond architecture, my hobbies include dance, travel, and music. I enjoy learning about new cultures and the performing arts!

June - August 2025

  • Contributed to the expedited delivery of a 100% CD set for Fanduel’s Suns Arena Membership Lounge refresh renovation. Participated in client, contractor, and city meetings and responded to feedback by updating finish plans and refining elevations. Coordinated with food service to update front-of-house details.

  • Rendered and iterated through design options for the Herberger Theatre Centre Pavilion. Met with client, acoustical engineers, theatre consultants, and landscape architects to collaborate on an outdoor civic expansion to an iconic building to deliver a schematic design package for the client ultimately.

  • Created graphics and physical models for competition and interview entries for potential new clients.

Architectural Intern

  • Provided guidance to undergraduate and graduate students in mastering Grasshopper and GH Python.

  • Mentored students in devising creative and efficient solutions for design assignments and projects in weekly lab sessions and weekly office hours.

  • Directed design discussions, managed deliverables, mentored younger students, and led a committee for a city-wide student initiative, presented at NOMA Pittsburgh’s Exhibition “Home with the Lid Off.”

  • Hosted bi-weekly community and professional events for Carnegie Mellon Architecture, including portfolio reviews with alumni and professional connections around Pittsburgh.

  • Coordinated with various organisations around Pittsburgh, including NOMA PGH, Carnegie Mellon, and CMBAA, to budget properly for the school year’s programs.

  • Designed and supervised the construction, interior, and exterior design of one-story, 18’ x 18’, dimensional lumber booths for the annual Carnegie Mellon University Carnival.

  • Ensured compliance with construction standards, building codes, and safety regulations.

  • Oversaw the project from concept to completion, coordinating timelines, budgeting and buying materials, and on-site execution to meet project goals successfully.
